Many thought that this dodgy-looking letter was fake – especially after a hardwarezone forumer testart pointed out several flaws in the letter.

Everyone thought that the Civil Service’s England is very powerful, so if got grammar mistakes confirm mean it’s a scam.

But HDB has since clarified in a FB post (see below) that the letter is authentic, and is not a scam.

They didn’t apologise for the numerous typos though.

Alamak, HDB. Next time proof read your official letters properly before issuing them, can?

And also inform the residents beforehand that your appointed consultant will conduct periodic building structural inspection lah.
