In case you missed it, some Vietnamese women were turned away at Changi Airport and Vietnam’s authorities have questioned why ICA had turned away the women. Naturally, Singapore’s ICA has responded with a pretty brilliant reply.

ICA mentioned the women did not meet entry requirements. News reports in Vietnam provided further insight into why they were denied entry. Several of the Vietnamese women had travelled to Singapore and were entering using different passports. They also failed to explain why they wanted to enter the country.

Vietnam’s Embassy in Singapore has since met ICA to discuss the issue and the authority has clarified on its entry procedures.

Either way, the ICA has done a good job ensuring that people using suspicious passports or acting suspiciously are not permitted to enter Singapore.
